Looking to Boost Your Social Media Strategy
Looking to boost your social media strategy? One of the toughest things to figure out about social media is where to start. When planning a social media campaign for MarketKeep clients we always ask ourselves the following questions:
What are you Promoting?
What is it that you want to put out online? Is it a sale for your store? A new product? New real estate listing? Be sure to define what it is you are trying to portray
What Are Your Goals?
What is the expectation for this post, and is it realistic or achievable?
Who Is Your Target Audience?
Does the message apply to everyone or only certain individuals in your target audience? Are you using the correct social media outlet for it?
What Can Your Audience Do With Your Post?
Creating content is half the battle. If your customers like what they see, where can they go to learn more? What is the next step?
Are You Planning for Each Network?
Facebook is the largest social media platform with the largest audience, but did you know that Instagram has the largest following of young audience? Think about your target audience and see if it makes sense to be sending that message on a platform.
Is it a Long Term Goal or a Short Term Goal?
Is this an immediate need or a long term goal? Are you giving your audience enough time to process the information and then act on it? A successful social media strategy generally takes about 2 to 3 weeks time.
Have You Identified Influences?
Start building content around the people who interact with it the most. Get those who routinely engage with your posts to carry it on their social media platforms as well. This level of engagement can take your social media campaign to new heights!
